The story of this town began many years ago when it attracted courageous mountain climbers sharing the same dream: the conquest of Mont Blanc, the highest summit in Europe.

As time went by it grew into a lively and cosmopolitan resort where skiers and adventurers congregate from all over the world. Today, the beautiful historical center moves day and night to the rhythm of its many restaurants, boutiques cafes and bars.

Some people however only visit it for its famous slopes: with the highest lift network in Europe (3842 m.), the longest off-piste run in the world (Valee Blanche) and a snowpark, Chamonix represents the ultimate destination.

The flight from Athens to Geneva lasts about 2 hs 50 The drive from the airport to Chamonix is 110 km in 1hs 10 mn. approximately.
Road: 
Chamonix is about 668 km from the port of Ancona. Approximately 6 hours 30mn drive. We recommend a stop-over in Milan.
